GENERAL INFORMATION ON HIRE

• Studios are available for hire Monday to Friday. Weekend hire is available which incurs a surcharge of $60 + GST per half or full day.

• Standard Full Day Hire is between 9am to 6pm

• Standard Half Day is between 9am to 1:30pm or 1:30pm to 6pm

• Early start (before 9am) and extended hours (after 6pm) can be arranged. The rate for each additional hour is $50.00. We require a minimum of 24 hours notice if you intend to extend your hire hours. Please understand that extension of studio hours is subject to bookings made by other parties. We will do our best to accommodate you whenever possibl

• Catering can be arranged locally. Please inquire in advance. Some suggestions are listed in Resources

CASUAL HIRE

• A 50% deposit is required for all casual studio bookings

• Payment must be made in full on the day of hire (this includes but is not limited to, any equipment hire or studio overtime rate

• In the event of a cancellation, a full refund of the deposit will be provided. Cancellations require 48 hours notice. If less than 48 hours notice, the Hirer will incur a 50% cancellation fee (the Hirer’s deposit).

MEMBERSHIP HIRE

• a 30 day account will be issued at the completion of each hire

• In the event of a cancellation, a full refund of the deposit will be provided. Cancellations require 24 hours notice. If less than 24 hours notice, the Hirer will incur a 50% cancellation fee

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

• The studio must be left in the same condition as before it was hired out to the Hirer. Additional costs will be incurred for cleaning, repainting or repairs. • The Cyclorama must be left in a reasonably clean state. If noticeable marking of the cyc or floor remains after a shoot a repainting fee may be charged.

• Background paper rolls are available for hire. At the end of the hire period the background paper needs to be the same condition as before hire. If the background paper is damaged, creased, stained or deemed unfit for future use (at Silverback Studios staff discretion), the Hirer will be charged at $25.00 per linear metre. The total fee/s will be added to your final invoice at the end of the hire perio

• No smoking is allowed on any part of the studio premises.

• Minors must be supervised at all times.

• Wireless Internet Access is limited to general web browsing. Hirers are to refrain from downloading movies, music or restricted content.

• Hirers may not remove or modify equipment in a way not recommended by the manufacturer. Or allow the equipment to be used by any untrained personne

• Silverback Studios has insured the studio premises and their own equipment against all normal insurable risks but not further or otherwis

• The Hirer is responsible for insuring their own equipment and personal property and that belonging to their clients, assistants, associated personnel and other third party individual

• Silverback Studios reserves the right to enter the studio to make inspections or observations. Silverback Studios will not unreasonably disrupt or interfere with the Hirer’s operation

• The Hirer agrees to indemnify Silverback Studios against any costs including legal costs, damages, payments, fines, or interests Silverback Studios may incur as a result of the Hirer breaching this agreemen

• Silverback Studios reserves the right to terminate this agreement at any time with or without notice if the Hirer has breached any terms of this agreement or for reasons of force majeure.
